My approach is collaborative and solutions-based, mainly. My focus is on creating a conversational space that may enrich the participant’s possibilities of handling current and future difficulties. I will suggest outside resources for those with issues beyond my scope of services as a coach to other specialized counselors. By working with me in a relationship and solutions coaching capacity, you are acknowledging that this is a non-therapeutic relationship focused on strengthening your connections toward a more fulfilling life, not mental health treatment. The coach does not provide psychological counseling or marriage and family therapy within this coaching dynamic, regardless of any professional licenses the coach may hold in other areas.
My fee is $200 per 45-50 minute consultation. You will be prompted for payment at this time as you are scheduling the consultation. Late cancellations or not showing for a scheduled coaching session without 24-hour notice will incur a $50 charge. If a consultation ends early because the primary objective has been achieved and there is nothing left to discuss, no partial refunds or pro-rated credits will be issued.
The coach agrees to maintain the privacy of all information, materials, and notes shared by the participant in connection with the coaching relationship. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, personal histories, business plans, financial information, interpersonal communication habits, and any verbal or written communications exchanged during or between coaching consultations. The coach will not disclose or use confidential information without the participant's express written consent, except when disclosure is required by applicable law, pursuant to a valid court order or subpoena. The coach is not a crisis stabilization service; if a participant experiences a psychological or safety emergency, the participant agrees to immediately contact local emergency services (988). The coach reserves the right to contact emergency services if an immediate, explicit threat to human life is disclosed during a live consultation.
When coaching involves multiple individuals, each person is considered a separate participant who has chosen to attend the consultations together. To maintain full transparency and focus on shared objectives, all coaching communications and updates occur openly during joint meetings. I practice a "No Secrets" policy. If you share information with me individually that directly impacts the well-being or future of your relationship, I will not hold that secret from your partner.
It should be noted that consultations can be done from a car, but not while driving due to split attention risks. A safe area away from traffic is preferable, such as a driveway, library parking lot or other safe parking area.
