Bring your toughest relational, couples, and systemic cases. Get a seasoned clinical perspective, clearer formulation, and practical next steps.

When a Case Just Isn't Moving

Some cases stay stuck despite your best efforts.

A client repeats the same pattern. A couple remains caught in conflict. A family dynamic resists intervention. Or you're simply unsure what you're missing—or what to try next.

Bring the Case. We'll Work Through It Together.

  • See the Pattern — Look beyond the presenting problem to understand the relational dynamics keeping it in place.

  • Expand Your OptionsDraw from systemic, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Social Constructionist, and Gottman approaches.

  • Know What to Try Next Leave with practical clinical possibilities you can bring into your next session.

What Case Consultation Looks Like

1. Start With the Case

Bring the client, couple, or family situation that's keeping you stuck. We'll clarify what's happening, what's been tried, and where you're uncertain.

2. See the Pattern

Step back from the presenting problem to examine the relational dynamics, recurring patterns, and opportunities for change.

3. Expand Your Clinical Options

Draw from Solution-Focused, Narrative, Social Constructionist, Family Systems, systemic, relational, and Gottman approaches as appropriate.

4. Leave With a Clearer Direction

We'll identify practical clinical possibilities you can consider in your next session—without forcing the case into a rigid formula.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get clarity on our services and approach.

Is this clinical supervision?

Case consultation and clinical supervision are not the same thing. Consultation is designed as a collaborative opportunity to think through clinical cases, perspectives, and intervention possibilities with an experienced peer. It does not include formal administrative oversight or sign-offs for licensure.

Who is consultation for?

Consultation is designed for practicing therapists who want an experienced perspective on complex client, couples, family, relational, or systemic cases.

Can I bring couples and family cases?

Yes. Relational and systemic cases are a primary focus of this consultation work. This includes complex couples dynamics and patterns involving multiple members of a family system.

What if I'm only struggling with one case?

That's exactly what the single-session consultation is designed for. You don't need an ongoing consultation relationship to bring a difficult case and get another perspective.

What should I bring to the consultation?

Bring the case you're thinking about, your clinical questions, what's been happening in treatment, what you've tried, and where you're feeling stuck. You don't need to have everything figured out beforehand.

Is the consultation confidential?

Yes. Consultation takes place in a secure, professional, and confidential setting. Client-identifying information should be handled appropriately and minimized or entirely de-identified when discussing cases.

Don't Figure Out Your Toughest Cases Alone.

Bring the case. Get a clearer perspective and practical next steps.
